HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE/HYPERTENSION—THE SILENT KILLER
“Blood pressure is the pressure of the blood against the walls of the arteries. Optimal blood pressure is less than 120/80 mm Hg. High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a condition in which blood pressure levels are above the normal range. Blood pressures of 120-139 / 80-89 mm Hg are considered prehypertension. Blood pressure is considered high if it is 140/90 mm Hg or higher. High blood pressure increases the risk for heart attack, angina, stroke, kidney failure and peripheral artery disease (PAD). High blood pressure may also increase the risk of developing fatty deposit in arteries (atherosclerosis). The risk of heart failure also increases due to the increased workload that high blood pressure places on the heart.”

Sixty million Americans have hypertension, African Americans have it more often than whites, Women have it less often than men until menopause and then just as frequent. Heavy snorers are more likely to have hypertension than silent sleepers.
Systolic: Diastolic:
120 or less =Good 80 or less= Good
120-130=Normal 80-85= Normal
131-140=Borderline 86-90= Borderline
141 and higher=High 91 and higher=High
Systolic readings of 140-150 in a person 55-70 years of age need not be considered high, but in a person of 30 this would indicate problems.
CAUSES AND FACTORS
Poor dietary and lifestyle habits: stress, fear, anger, pain, overeating, animal foods, little or no exercise, dehydration, proper rest etc. “Volumes of scientific research show that dietary changes can eliminate high blood pressure in most patients.” Julian Whitaker, M.D.
God’s remedies: 15 glasses of distilled water daily with a pinch of pure sea salt per five glasses.
Eat plenty of raw fruit and vegetables daily. Eat raw garlic, it normalizes blood pressure. Broccoli has 6 chemicals that reduce blood pressure. Carrots contain 8 compounds that lower it. At least four sticks of celery juice mixed with carrot juice will lower blood pressure.
Vitamin C with bioflavonoids (1,000-5000 mg), Vitamin E-… gradually increase to 400 IU. Sprinkle Lecithin on your food it helps dilate blood vessels, and prevent fatty deposits in the arteries.
Never abruptly stop taking blood pressure medication. Consult with your physician
HERBS/SUPPLEMENTS
Coenzyme Q10 is frequently deficient in those with hypertension . When they take 50 mg twice per day blood pressure goes down significantly. 50-100 mg can be taken 3 times per day.
Hawthorne Extract can dilate blood vessels, especially the coronary arteries. Probably as effective as Coenzyme Q10 but much less expensive.
Fennel contains 10 compounds that lower blood pressure, Oregano has 7
Circ-Life Formula is an amazing natural formula available from phase 3 ministries. It contains Hawthorn Berry, Cayenne Valerian Root, Black Cohosh, Garlic, and Tumeric.
Heart Function Self Test:
Check pulse first thing in the morning. The rate should be between 60 and 100 beats per minute. A chronically high pulse rate is often times a precursor to hypertension. Taken daily this pulse test can forewarn of oncoming illness.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11.
“God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.” Psalms 67:1,2.
