A leading health expert related the swine influenza shock was a “false pandemic” controlled by drug firms that stood to make billions from vaccines, according to a story reported on Fox News.com. Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, claimed major firms arranged a “campaign of panic” to put pressures on the World Health Organization ( WHO ) to declare an epidemic.
He suspects it is “one of the best drugs scandals of the century,” and he has requested an investigation. An emergency debate on the issue will be held by the Council of Europe later on this month. The Council of Europe covers 47 EU states and tries to develop common and democratic elements between the countries. Wodarg asserted, “It’s simply a standard sort of influenza it doesn’t lead to a tenth of deaths caused by the classic seasonal flu.

“The great campaign of panic we have seen provided a wonderful opportunity for delegates from laboratories who knew they might hit the bulls-eye in the case of an epidemic being announced.
“We need to explain everything that caused this giant operation of misinformation. We would like to know who made decisions, on the basis of what evidence, and exactly how the influence of the pharmaceutical sector came to bear on the decision-making.”.
He added : “A bunch of people in the WHO is associated terribly closely with the pharmaceutical industry.”.
The WHO latterly reaffirmed its position that the epidemic isn’t over notwithstanding the quantity of swine influenza deaths is significantly lower than anticipated. In a talk with France’s L’Humanite Sun. , Wodarg also raised fears about swine influenza vaccines. Some ingredients were insufficiently tested,” he announced.
“But there’s worse to come. The vaccine developed by Novartis was produced in a bioreactor from carcenogenic cells, a method that hadn’t been employed till now. It in addition has led straight to a substantial mismanagement of public money.
“The time has come at last for us to make demands on executives.
